The Mid-West University of Nepal is seeking academic volunteers for semester or longer visits.
The University is situated in the capital city of Karnali Province of Nepal. This province is the poorest in the very poor nation of Nepal with approximately 40% of the population considered as in extreme poverty.
While Karnali province is very poor economically it is also one of the most beautiful places in the world as it is covered hills, mountains, and lakes like Rara Lake, Mahavu Hill, Sisne Himal, Kankrebihar, Kupinde Daha, Karnali and Bheri River, Kanjiruwa Himal.
There is no pay for your efforts, but rich experiences are readily available in the community and at the University. The University will provide support as you locate housing. The students at the University want to connect to the world and improve their lives. You can be part of that process.
