The Department of Management at the John Molson School of Business (Concordia University, Montreal, Canada) welcomes applications to its PhD program, in the area of Organizational Behaviour, for the cohort beginning in September 2025.
Scholars in the Department study a broad spectrum of topics, including but not limited to:

• Employee stress and well-being
• Entrepreneurship
• Global work experiences
• Leadership
• Team dynamics and interpersonal relationships at work
• Unemployment
• Work-nonwork dynamics
The PhD Program in Management at JMSB - Concordia University is offered jointly with the three other Montreal universities: McGill University, École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC Montréal), and Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). The joint program gives doctoral students access to over 250 professors, offering a variety of research approaches and interests.
The PhD program in Management is a full-time research program for those who are oriented towards making a significant contribution to the research and practice of modern organizations, industries, and society. Funding is offered for 5 years of study.
We expect our PhD students to:
ü Pursue and complete the PhD degree in five years, including PhD level coursework, as well as plan and conduct their PhD research
ü Actively collaborate with the researchers from Montreal's research community (John Molson School of Business, McGill University, HEC Montreal, and UQAM)
ü Present research findings at major international conferences
ü Submit their work to peer-reviewed journals in management and related disciplines
ü Assist in teaching activities, and acquire pedagogical experience by teaching selected courses
