This event will showcase three papers recently published by the Journal of International Business Studies, focusing on important issues related to International Leadership. The webinar will be hosted by Carl Fey from BI Norwegian Business School. Following 10 minute presentations of each paper we will have time to discuss the papers, discuss recent developments in the field of international leadership, and answer questions from the audience.

Presenter Bios:
Markus Pudelko (markus.pudelko@uni-tuebingen.de) is Director of the Department of International Business at Tübingen University. He earned Master degrees in Business Studies (Cologne), Economics (Sorbonne) and International Management (CEMS) and a PhD (Cologne). His research focuses on the impact of culture and language on international business. His publications appeared in journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Human Resource Management, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management, Journal of World Business, Leadership Quarterly and Long Range Planning. He has received over 40 research awards. Currently, he is senior editor of the Journal of World Business.
Dimitrios Georgakakis (D.Georgakakis@leeds.ac.uk) is a Professor of International Business at the University of Leeds, United Kingdom. He is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Management Studies and a member of the professorial advisory board of Leeds University Business School. His research interests include the micro-foundational roles of strategic leaders in multinational enterprises (MNEs), the role of strategic leadership interfaces in organizations, and the impact of executives' dynamic international managerial capabilities on organizational outcomes. His research has been published in journals like the Journal of International Business Studies, the Journal of Management Studies, and the Journal of Management.
Thomas Rockstuhl (TRockstuhl@ntu.edu.sg) is an Associate Professor in management at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and Director of Psychometrics at The Center for Leadership and Cultural Intelligence (CQ). His research focuses on the generalizability of theories across cultural contexts, and on the conceptualization and nomological network of intercultural capabilities. His research has appeared in top management journals, such as the Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Applied Psychology, and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes. Thomas is widely considered an expert in CQ and has won multiple international research awards for his work on CQ and cross-cultural management.
Regular co-host Bio:
Carl Fey (carl.fey@bi.no) is a Professor of Strategy at BI Norwegian Business School, an Affiliated Scholar at Boao Forum, and an elected Fellow of the Academy of International Business. He was Dean of Nottingham University Business School China from 2011-2015 which he led through a significant growth and development phase. Current research interests include cross-cultural comparative studies on innovation, self-management, and organizational culture, as well as studies on international knowledge transfer, and firm internationalization. He has a special interest in understanding what management practices work best in China. He has published over 60 journal articles in leading journals and is recipient of the 2013 Journal of International Business Studies Decade Award. Professor Fey is frequently interviewed in the popular press and is a sought-after executive educator and keynote speaker.
