    We're delighted to host the PDW "Leadership, Followership, and Identity: Developing Research and Practice" at the 85th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management in Copenhagen! Please submit your short working paper by Monday, June 23, 2025, if you would like to receive developmental feedback on your current work in these areas (see submission details below).

    Purpose and Structure

    The purpose of this PDW is to stimulate the next generation of leadership, followership, and identity scholarship and the application in leadership development practice.

    The PDW has three parts: An introduction from the organizers, presentations of four distinguished speakers, and panelists' introductions (part 1); thought-provoking small group discussions along the six main themes led by the panelists (part 2); and development roundtables, in which the panelists provide in-depth feedback on previously submitted working papers or facilitate new research ideas and collaborations (part 3).

    The PDW is open to all AOM attendees, and you do not need to register or submit a working paper to take part.
