We are excited to announce that the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary will again be holding a research workshop aimed at helping to develop in-progress empirical papers on equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in organizations. The workshop will be held on October 9-10, with an optional trip to Banff National Park on October 11. We have arranged an incredible panel of mentors who will work with small groups (no more than four per mentor) to give feedback and help you take your paper to the next level.

We recognize that those of you in the United States might experience barriers to attending an EDI workshop outside of the country. To help combat this, you'll notice that the website and any official materials you receive from us will not explicitly mention EDI-related words or topics. That being said, rest assured that our focus is the same as last year, with the goal of helping to develop research that addresses topics related to identity, discrimination, EDI initiatives and backlash, etc. If you have any questions about acceptable topics or papers, please reach out.
