Are you working on cognition-related research? Would you like to discuss your work with faculty scholars and peers in the field?

If so, we welcome your submission for the 2024 "Cognition in the Rough" workshop, to be held at the Academy of Management annual meeting on Saturday, August 10 from 9am to noon CDT.

The Cognition in the Rough workshop (CIR) provides an opportunity to discuss your research in an informal, collegial roundtable setting. CIR is intended to help scholars develop a research paper. Each roundtable will have 2-3 facilitators to provide feedback on 3-4 early-stage research papers, allowing plenty of time for discussion. Regardless of whether you are a senior or a more junior researcher, this workshop offers the opportunity to receive detailed feedback from scholars in your domain who are often editors or on the editorial board of top journals.

We are very pleased that the following scholars have agreed to participate: Kevin Corley, Erik Dane, Kevin Rockmann, Margaret Gorman, Michelle Barton, Luis Martins, Neal Ashkanasay, Gerard Hodgkinson, Andrea Casey, Frances Milliken, David Sluss, Chet Miller, Sophie Leroy, Janet Dukerich, Jennifer Kish-Gephart, Sim Sitkin, Colin Fisher, Julia DiBenigno, Luis Martins, Caroline Bartel, Philip Rogiers, Stephen Mezias, Anna Jonsson, and Virginia Leavell.

    Key dates:
    Submission deadline: June 17, 2024
    Send submissions to: cirpdw@gmail.com
Acceptance notices and registration codes will be sent after July 8, 2023
