    Human Resource Management (FT50) invites submissions for a Special Issue on 'Adapting to a More Flexible Future: The Role of Human Resource Management in Virtual Work'. This Special Issue addresses how HRM can manage the challenges and opportunities of virtual work. It seeks to advance HRM research on virtual work by expanding HRM research beyond traditional settings to encompass evolving work structures. It focuses on the role of HRM in shaping and managing virtual work beyond the individual (e.g., employee) perspective, with a particular emphasis on organizational practices. It provides insights into how HRM can enhance virtual work, optimize workforce management, and ensure sustainable and productive virtual work environments that operate within and across countries.     Submission Process

    Authors can submit papers between 1-31 March, 2026 to Human Resource Management (Wiley) for publication consideration. Papers should be prepared and submitted according to the journal's guidelines All papers will be subject to the same double-blind peer review process as regular issues of Human Resource Management (Wiley).
