    Dear Colleagues,

Building on the engaging conversations we had this year in Chicago, we would like to put together again a symposium on managers' experiences with hybrid work for submission to the 85th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management in Copenhagen in July, 2025. It would be nice to showcase the new projects in this area, discuss new ideas, and meet new people interested in the topic!

The focus of the symposium is to discuss the latest research on managers' perspectives on hybrid working, their experiences with managing hybrid teams, implementing hybrid work policies, etc. This could include the unique demands or challenges they face, the strategies they use to address these demands, skills required to manage effectively in this environment, influences on line managers' experiences and behaviours. We believe the line manager's perspective is often neglected in current research and would like to bring more attention to the research being done this area and future research needs.

If you are doing research in this field and interested in joining our symposium submission, we would love to hear from you.  Please send us a tentative title and a brief abstract (up to 250 words) to tatiana.andreeva@mu.ie by November 29, 2024, so that we can see whether your project could fit with the papers we already have. We aim to finalize the selection of abstracts by December, 4, 2025. Extended abstracts are due December 16, 2024.

We are looking forward to receiving your contributions,

    Best regards,

Tatiana, Jordi, Julia, Lara and Véronique
