The Department of Psychology at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor in Industrial-Organizational (IO) Psychology. All areas within IO will be considered. We are particularly interested in applicants with research relating to selection or performance appraisal, work and health, workplace inequity / inequality, or applicants in any IO specialty whose interests have potential to contribute to other areas within the department, college, or university. Expertise in advanced quantitative methods is preferred. The successful applicant will teach graduate and undergraduate courses in IO (e.g., general and IO-related specialty courses) and other courses appropriate to their expertise, direct MS and PhD students, maintain a successful research program, and secure extramural funding. Applicants must have a PhD in Psychology or closely related field by August 2025; a record of publications, teaching, and potential for mentoring; and a commitment to working with first generation and non-traditional students.
